Reflections:
Decision Making & Production
Students will be able to produce writing that demonstrates their ability to navigate choices and constraints when writing for specific audiences, genres, and purposes.
Reflection Discussion:
When given the assignment to write a reflection on the challenges I faced when writing the final paper, I had to take some time to analyze my writing ability and look at some of the choices I made to pick out where I struggled. After looking through my final paper I could identify where I struggled. Following the identifying of the issues I faced I elaborated on them giving facts like "Choosing which characters demonstrated the theme of Hunger," specifically in the Seventh Night Poem, and telling my peers how I struggled with that concept but also how I figured out and wrote the rest of the paper.

Parables & Fables:
When given this assignment to write either a parable or a fable, an issue that struck me right away is the fact that I would have to cater the story towards a younger audience. Which is something that I am not very familiar with. Knowing what I needed to do I did some research looking up different parables and fables that thousands of kids around the world have read and just picked up on little details that were similar in all of them, following that I was able to put together my fable, to which I think the story does a good job of doing one of the most crucial aspects of a fable which is the lesson it teaches as well as being entertaining.
